SHIMANO 105 Di2 borrows from top-tier DURA-ACE and ULTEGRA technology and functionality – wrapped up in sophisticated ergonomics. Unfold the four benefits of a new day.

The new SHIMANO 105 brings Di2 shifting to a new set of riders. For those who have only experienced mechanical shifting and ergonomics, SHIMANO 105 Di2 represents a transformation of the road cycling experience.
With function and technologies inherited from DURA-ACE and ULTEGRA, SHIMANO 105 is the culmination of years of research and development. With a shared Di2 platform, sophisticated ergonomics, SHIMANO 105-optimized gear combinations, and an exceptional brake system, the new SHIMANO 105 marks a new era of affordable performance.

SHIMANO 105 goes wireless. Think lightning-fast precision shifts at the touch of a button without skipping a beat – even when fatigue sets in or you encounter an unexpected ascent. Going electronic also lets you shift under load – such as when climbing or sprinting. Customise how you shift. Shift without performance loss – from Day 1 to Day 1000. And enjoy the silence to contemplate the world around you.
Our new 12-speed cassette is the same width as our 11-speed cassette, so the space between each cog is narrower. This means shifts so smooth you’ll barely notice them. Whether climbing, descending or rolling on the flats, you’ll keep your rhythm and stay in the flow.
Di2 is beautifully integrated into the design of the bike with no stretched or frayed cables in sight – or to replace. Wireless shifting brings a clean cockpit free of shift wires and ports. While the internal Di2 battery is concealed in the seat post or frameset.
The smallest cog of the 12-speed 11-36T rear cassette has 11 teeth while the largest cog has 36. This offers a big range of gears so you can climb hilly terrain or push on the downhills with superb control and ease. And it might just be one tooth from 11 to 12-speed but smaller shifts – so small you’ll barely feel them – bring a lovely rhythm and flow.
